Visual literacy and art history: 500 Years of Women in Art

After my last post on revisiting quotes that support visual and multimedia literacy, I thought I'd share this video I found on YouTube that provides a glimpse of women's faces that morph from one to the next, giving a visual, non-verbal understanding of how women have been depicted in art for 500 years. This clip would be a great intro for an art history or humanities class, as it sets the stage for further discussion about the topic.
